Size and Filling Guide
Bed sizes and fibre filling guide
Two things define a product: its size and the fibre inside it. This guide covers which fibre goes into which product and at what fill weight, then the textile sizes that match the bed sizes used in Türkiye.

Fibre First
Which fibre goes into which product?
Size gives a product its dimensions; fibre gives it its character. The table below lists the fibre types we produce, how each one feels and where it is used.
| Fibre | Feel | Used in |
|---|---|---|
| Carded Fibre | Dense-textured and economical | Economy pillows, poufs and seat pad filling |
| Silicone Ball Fibre | Clustered, springs back quickly after compression | Pillows, cushions, poufs and decorative filling |
| Siliconised Fibre (HCS) | Slippery-surfaced, holds its loft over time | Pillows and duvets |
| Microgel Fibre | The softest option, with a down-like touch | Upper-segment pillows and duvets |
| Hollow Conjugated Fibre | Light yet high in volume | Winter duvets and fillings that need loft |
| Flame-Retardant Fibre (FR) | Standard feel with flame-retardant behaviour | Hotel, dormitory, hospital and public projects |
| Recycled Polyester Fibre | Behaves the same as standard polyester | Projects with sustainability targets |
Fill Weight
How much filling gives which result?
These are the ranges we actually run on our line. Stating the fill weight alongside the size is enough for the product to come out the way you expect.
| Product | Fill range | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Pillow | 650 – 1,200 g | A soft touch sits near the lower end; a firm, full profile near the upper. |
| Duvet | 300 – 350 g/m² | The all-season range. Summer weights go lower, winter weights higher. |
| Baby products | Lightweight silicone fibre | Lightness comes first; sizes follow cot and travel-cot mattresses. |
What to know when choosing fibre
Denier decides the softness
Denier measures how fine a filament is. A low denier gives a fine, soft filling; a high denier gives a thicker, loftier and more resilient one. Changing denier alone changes how the product feels.
The silicone coating decides the recovery
In siliconised fibre the filament surface carries a thin silicone layer, so filaments slide over each other instead of matting together. That is why the filling recovers its shape faster after compression.
Hotel and dormitory projects ask for flame-retardant fibre
Buildings under fire regulations may require a flame-retardant (FR) filling. Share the project specification up front and we will select the right fibre and fabric together.
The same size at a different fill weight is a different product
The size table gives dimensions, not character. A 195 × 215 cm duvet behaves as a summer duvet at 300 g/m² and a winter one at 350 g/m². State the fill weight alongside the size when you order.

Practical Rules
What to know when choosing a size

The cover should be 5 cm larger than the duvet
The cover is cut a few centimetres larger so the duvet can move inside it. An exact-fit cover binds the duvet and leaves the corners empty.
The duvet should overhang the mattress by 25–30 cm on each side
This is why a 150 cm wide bed takes a 195–200 cm wide duvet. Without enough overhang the duvet pulls open during the night.
The protector matches the mattress exactly
Protectors and fitted sheets are chosen at mattress size; too large and they wrinkle, too small and the elastic slips off the corner. If your mattress is over 30 cm deep, state the side depth.
Standard sizes vary between brands
The values here are the most widely used sizes in Türkiye; there can be a few centimetres of difference between brands. Measure your mattress for a certain result.
